We are five public historians from across the country, all missing our museum and exhibition trips in these strange times. With a varying range of interests, from nuclear weaponary to the Luddites, and each trapped in different homes across England, from the South Coast to the Yorkshire Dales, we are excited to bring to your a little bit of history from our home.

This collection is curated by Natasha Kitcher, Doctoral Researcher at Loughborough University, with contributions from Eliza Bichard, Joshua Daniels, Laura Felton-Hustwitt, and Henry Palmer. We are all graduates of the MA in Public History at Royal Holloway, University of London, and now work in a range of institutions from Historic Royal Palaces to the Norfolk Heritage Centre.

In the months of June and July, we are excited to host some guest bloggers to share history from their own home towns – demonstrating the fact that history really is everywhere.
